In this program, you will discover what tools and resources you need to support your healthy life vision and know how to implement them into your life without creating more overwhelm. I call this set of resources your self-care tool kit.

  • Preventative Tools: understanding and using the body more effectively to prevent tension build-up
  • Home Tools I: hydrotherapy, compression release, stretching to treat tension
  • Home Tools II: acupressure and finger holds to release imbalance and decrease stress
  • Food Tools: how to use food as medicine and its primary role in health
  • Mental Tools: meditation, sensory focus, and the power of words and thoughts to keep the mind focused positively

Ayurveda creates balance that will ensure optimum health and well-being.

Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing which aims to balance and heal on all levels of the body, mind and spirit. This learning series will provide the background of why and how this system works along with a solid foundation to begin integrating the wisdom and tools into your life. This system is used for healing as well as prevention and maintenance of optimal health.

Class topics will include:

  • Background philosophy of Ayurveda and yoga
  • The energetics of life, food and you
  • The unique Dosha approach and how it can guide your life to health
  • Using daily and seasonal regimen to keep you in balance

*What is a teleclass?

This is a class format in which we meet via the telephone. This provides fabulous geographical flexibility. No need to worry about weather, which here in snowy Wisconsin can have a real impact on whether you can actually make it to class. No need to worry about living in a different city or a different state.

It's so simple...all you do is call in to a specific number (this is a toll call depending on your phone plan - meaning you will be charged like any long distance call based on your phone plan's price structure unless you have an unlimited long distance plan) and enter in a special code, and there I will all be waiting.

Trance dancing is a vision quest that will bring out your true inner, creative self.

The dance will begin with learning "Meditation on the Breath", "Pranic Breath", and the "Breath of Fire" which are used during the trance dance and are followed by dynamic dance while blindfolded to build self-trust and to remove all external judgement. After the trance dance, you will end with a deep relaxation held by a Gong bath meditation.

Trance dancing has nothing to do with the expectations of others, and everything to do with awakening the body with internal, natural expression, letting your spirit flow.

Dance is a way of exploring non-ordinary reality (vs. ordinary reality of day to day life). Join us for a fun and powerful way of connecting deeply to your inner reality then seeing how your outer reality shifts accordingly.
